Meet our team
TINA CARSTENSEN
ASFG’s Early Childhood Principal, was born in Rochester, New York. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master’s degree in education from Goddard College in Vermont. She also holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Framingham University in Massachusetts and a degree in preschool education through the CENEVAL in Mexico. Tina is a certified mindfulness instructor for schools. She was a founding member of RedSOLARE México, which promotes the Reggio Emilia approach throughout Latin America. Tina has worked at ASFG for more than thirty years and was a teacher in pre-kinder, kindergarten, and pre-first before moving into an administrative position in Early Childhood.
